Types of tourism

Geography:

1.Domestic
Natives of that country traveling and exploring within their country. 
example,Filipinos from Manila
2.Regional
a geographical region that has been designated by a governmental organization or tourism bureau as having common cultural or environmental characteristics. Example, North Sumatra, Bali Tourism, and others

3.Regional- international
Tourism is a growing activity in the area is limited but the internasioal past the limits that two or three countries, e.g. tourism ASEAN, Middle East, etc.

4.International tourism
a growing tourism activities across the country in the world.

Goal:

1.Bussiness

Travel to complete a bussiness transaction or attend a bussiness event. Example, conventions, sales meetings ,trade shows.

2. Educational

The main objective of the tourist is acquiring new knowledge about culture or history from other countries or cities.

3.Vacational

A vacation or holiday is leave from a regular occupation,or a specific trip or journey, usually for the  purpose or recreation or tourism. Example, celebrations festivals.

Objects :

1.Cultural

Travel to experience history , folkfore and cultural lifestyle of a location. Example: museum, home stays, mosques

2.Sports

Tourism to experience a specialized sport or sporting event.

3.Religion

Visiting a place of religious significance. Example: mecca, saudi Arabia, varanasi, india and vatican, rome. fa

      4. Natural

Travel to enjoy a natural setting, scenery or wildlife. Example: travel to the Serengeti plain in Africa, and the rainforest of costa rica.

5.Social

Travel which involves the company of others. This may include travel by tour bus and family visits.

6.Political

Travel aims with political affairs

7.Commercial

Travel associated with the trade. Example: The Exhibition

8.Recuperational Tourism

Tourism with the aim of healing a disease. Example: the healing thermal water

1.Seasonal tourism

Tourism in certain seasons. Example: Summer season

2.Occasional tourism

Tourism that connects on a particular activity. Example: Skatenan, grebeg, kuningan.

The amount of people:

1.Individual Tourism

A journey undertaken by yourself.

2.Group Tourism

A journey undertaken by many people.

Transportation:

1.Land Tourism

Tourism using ground vehicles. Example: train, bus, bicycle

2.Sea tourism

Tourism that use sea transport. Example: boats, ships, ferry

3.Air tourism

 Tourism that use air transport. Example: Aircraft, Helicopter, Hot Air Balloon

Age :

1.Youth tourism

Tourism conducted the youth.

2.Adult tourism

Tourism is done by people who are elderly.

According to gender:

1.Masculine tourism

tourism only for men. Example: adventures

2.feminine tourism

tourism only for women. for example: cooking demo, demo hijab style

Social level:

Sightseeing trips using standard luxury amenities, example: transportation,       equipment, hotels, and attraction.
2.    Middle class tourism
Types of travel that are intended for those who want a facillity at a price that is not too expensive, but not too bad service.
3.     Social tourism
Travel trips which happen to be carried along with the costs calculated as cheaply as possible with adequate facilities.
